Walter Vernon Credille

Walter Vernon Credille, Jr, (Vern), 65, of Springville, passed away at his home on Friday, June 12, 2026. He was born November 28, 1960 in Dallas, Oregon to Walter Vernon Credille and Martha Ethel Thompson Credille. He married Kathryn Reid Credille on June 21, 1985 in the Idaho Falls Temple.

Vern attended college at Ricks College, Brigham Young University, and the University of Utah, obtaining degrees in Electrical Engineering Technology and Electrical Engineering. He had a long and meaningful career designing speakers for Wilson Audio.

Vern’s primary focus in life was his family and faith. He treasured every minute spent with his family making memories. We will always look to his example of how to be a husband, father, and grandfather as he excelled in each of these roles. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and served in many church callings, but most loved his time working in the temple.

Vern is survived by his wife Kathryn; his three children Cy (Kamrie) Credille, Tatem (Zac) Trotter, and Tesha Credille; his four grandchildren Lucy Trotter, Jackson Trotter, Ellie Credille, and Walt Credille. He was preceded in death by his mother Martha.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 on Friday, June 19, 2026 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints chapel on 495 South Canyon Road. A viewing for friends and family will be held just prior to the funeral services from 9:30-10:30 am. Burial will be in the Springville City Cemetery.
