Cindy Lee (Beazer) Walker

August 20, 1952 — October 8, 2020

Cindy Lee Beazer Walker was called to return to our heavenly home unexpectedly on October 8th, 2020. Cindy was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho on August 20, 1952 to Arland Richard Beazer and Afton Sudweeks Beazer. Cindy spent her childhood in Lincoln, ID and later graduated from Bonneville High School in 1970.
After graduation, Cindy drove her Volkswagen Bug to Salt Lake City, Utah and later attended LDS Business College where she learned to be a book keeper, which proved to be invaluable throughout her life.
In 1972, Cindy married Bruce Wayne Hendrix and they had 5 children together: Wayne, Travis, John, April and Rose. They later divorced.
Cindy married Richard George Walker on January 6th, 1995 and together, they made their home in Springville, Utah. They were later sealed in the Provo, Utah temple. Cindy and Richard shared a deep love for one another and were true partners in business, love, travel, life and (eventually) eternal life.
Cindy was an avid reader and subjected herself to a wide array of subjects. She loved all sports, horses, gardening, geology, astronomy, music and many other things. Her passion for learning extended into her later years where she completed a 4 year journeyman electrical license program. She worked side by side with Richard on hundreds of electrical project sites and kept meticulous books for their business.
Cindy’s greatest joys in life were her family and her love of the Savior. Cindy had a strong testimony and did her best to pass on her love of Christ to others. She served in many callings within the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and has gained many great friends throughout her callings and through serving the people in her neighborhood.
Cindy is survived by her loving husband, Richard Walker of Springville, UT; her son Travis (Crystal) Hendrix of Lehi, UT; son John (Jacque) Hendrix of Tooele, UT; daughter April Steed of Henderson, NV; daughter Rose (Derek) Wells of Springville, UT; step-daughter Heather (Stephen) Draper of Logan, UT; step-daughter Sarah Armstrong of Ely, NV; step-daughter Emily (Kris) Griffith of Ely, NV; step-daughter Heidi (Dan) Hanson of Ely, NV; step-daughter Michele (Michael) Aldana of Henderson, NV; step-son Carl Walker of Bountiful, UT; brother Syd (Ruth Ann) of Lorezno, ID; brother Mark (Becky) Beazer of Orem, UT; sister Denice (Paul) Young of Idaho Falls, ID and 34 grandchildren.
Cindy is preceded in death by her parents, Arland Richard Beazer and Afton Sudweeks Beazer, her brother Jeff Beazer, and her son Wayne Hendrix.
The family would like to thank the numerous EMTs, nurses, doctors, and surgeons that worked tirelessly to care for Cindy. We would also like to thank the many people that shared their lives with Cindy and have shown a tremendous amount of love and support during this difficult time.
