Clifton Fred Moesinger, November 2, 1939 – May 20, 2021.  Cliff passed away peacefully and unexpectedly in his home in Springville, UT.  He was born to Helen Reardon Moesinger and Fred Walter Moesinger in Ogden, Utah and was preceded in death by his parents. Cliff leaves behind sons: Paul (Debra), OKC, OK; Judd (Riley), Heber City and Logan (Audrey), Spanish Fork and daughter, Krosbi (Aaron), Springville; sister, Helen Thomas, St George; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren and his best bud, Murphy.

Cliff enlisted in the U.S. Army after high school and served for two years active duty. He continued serving in the Army reserves, fulfilling his service requirement in February 1968.

Cliff worked for the United States Postal service for 32 years serving in a multitude of positions from sorting mail, shift supervisor, and several temporary assignments as Post Master for smaller communities in Utah.  After retirement, he focused on family and the hobbies he loved so much including hunting, fishing, training Labrador retrievers, and tinkering on just about anything he could get his hands on.  His love of the outdoors and love for Labs was demonstrated by hundreds of ribbons and trophies his dogs earned over the years. He enjoyed telling the many stories about their experiences. His best four-legged friend, Murphy had been by his side for the past 12 years and lives on as a memory of the passion he had training and showing the Labradors he had over his lifetime.

Cliff was a generous man that had a passion for many organizations ranging from Ducks Unlimited to Children’s Hospital and was quick to help when he saw an unfilled need. He had a wonderful sense of humor, a cheerful kind attitude, and a bright smile that will be missed by all who knew him.

A short graveside memorial will be held on Friday, July 17, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Ogden City Cemetery in Ogden, Utah where he will be laid to rest next to his mother and father whom he loved very much.
