Curtis LaVar Stewart

Curtis LaVar Stewart, age 72, passed away May 1, 2020 in St George, UT. Born August 18, 1947 to Floyd LaVar and Mary Curtis Stewart. He married Laura MacMillan on February 14, 1981 in Toronto Canada.
Curtis graduated from Springville High School in 1965. Later, he went on to graduate from BYU with a degree in Accounting. He was a member of the Springville National Guard.
Hard work was a large part of Curtis’ life, however in his spare time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a great father to Poco and Rollie.
Curtis is survived by his wife Laura, siblings Howard (Cheryl) Stewart, Juanita Strong, Chris (Randy) Chapple, & James Stewart.
He was proceeded in death by his father and mother; brothers Floyd, Alan, and Jay Stewart, sisters Ruth Beckstead & Jean Bills, and Mac and Margaret MacMillan (father and mother in-law).
A private family viewing will be held May 7, 2020 from 11:00 – 12:30 at Wheeler Mortuary, 11 East 200 South, Springville. Graveside services will follow at the Evergreen Cemetery in Springville at approximately 1:00 pm.
