Eula Mae (Wilson) Riding

Our beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, Eula Mae Wilson Riding, passed from this life, November 27, 2022. She was born October 26, 1928 in Casper, Wyoming, the fourth child born to Angus B. Wilson and Blanche Cullimore. She married Amos LeRoy Riding on January 21, 1949, later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. Their enduring love and simple life was something to be admired and respected.
Mom always made home a happy place to be. She worked for Kolob Lumber & Co. as a bookkeeper where she made many friends. They spent many winters in Apache Junction, AZ enjoying the snowbirding lifestyle. She was a faithful member of the LDS Church, providing service in various callings. Her greatest joy was her family, being a devoted wife, mother, grandma and “Grandma Great!” Her kindness touched the lives of many, she was always more concerned about their happiness and comfort than she was her own.
Survived by Jerry Loveland (son-in-law), Colleen (Tom) Stradling, Ross Riding, Michele (Robert) Folsom, 14 grandchildren 35 great-grandchildren and one great, great grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband, Amos Riding, Lynette Loveland, daughter, and Susan Riding, daughter-in-law.
There will be a viewing for family and friends held on Friday, December 2, 2022 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South in Springville. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. in the Hobble Creek West Stake Center at 555 South 600 East in Springville, with a viewing held that morning from 12:00-12:30 p.m. prior to the services, with burial following in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
