He loved the mountains especially American Fork Canyon and Hobble Creek Canyon and loved to go for long walks and to see the animals. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and his favorite position was to be a teacher in the Primary. He loved working with the children and also the young people. He worked for Rylee Industries for several years until the plant closed. After retiring from Rylee he went to work at BYU as a physical facilities supervisor.
