Harvey Ben Zobell

Harvey Ben Zobell, husband, father, grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend passed away peacefully at the home of his son Tracy in Salem, Utah on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at the age of 79. He was born on March 21, 1942 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Benjamin Richard Zobell and Della Fern Zobell. He married Sharon Ann Huff on April 29, 1963 in Mapleton, Utah. In July of 1980 they were sealed in the Provo LDS temple.

Harvey grew up in Spanish Fork with his 4 sisters and 2 brothers. He loved to ride his bike, hunt and fish. At the age of 17 he enlisted in the U.S. Navy where he honorably served for 8 years. He loved his time in the service and would share stories with his kids and grandchildren of all the places he served and adventures he had. After his time in the service he worked hard in the construction field and trucking industry.

Harvey was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. He held many callings and had a strong testimony. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He and Sharon moved to Genola, Utah 19 years ago and loved their home and neighbors there.

Later in his life he enjoyed traveling, specifically cruises with his beloved wife Sharon. He also loved the game of golf and enjoyed playing or just being at Gladstan with his golfing buddies.

Harvey is survived by his children; Leslie, Rick (Jodi), Brad (Lisa), and Tracy (Becky), 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters Marilyn Johnson, Kathy Underwood, Carlene Finch and his brothers Donnie and Cary Zobell. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister Alice, his youngest son Brandon and just 6 weeks ago his beautiful wife Sharon.

A viewing for family and friends will be held on Sunday, January 9, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South in Springville, Utah. There will be a graveside service for family members at the Evergreen Cemetery on Monday, January 10, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.
