Javotte Webster Turner, age 90, of Springville, Utah, passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023. She was born in Roanoke, Virginia, on December 5, 1932, and was the daughter of the late Alma Francis Webster and Luther Albert Turner.

Javotte was an accomplished business woman and used her professional skills in many ways including working for the University of Virginia, University of California, Tempe Arizona School District and for the State of Utah.

Javotte was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints and faithfully served in many capacities, including a full-time mission in the state of California. One of her greatest passions was researching family history and tracing her family members as far back as possible. Javotte was fond of music and was a talented singer, performing many years as a member of the Salt Lake chapter of “Sweet Adelines”.

Although she never married, her family was extensive and included her birth family and a significant number of close friends and associates who enjoyed her warmth and kindness.

After a long life of service to the community, friends, and family she has now been reunited with her parents, (Luther and Alma) and siblings (Arlen, Lester, Albert and Helen).

Javotte’s final resting place will be next to her mother at the St. George City Cemetery.  At a later time, a private family memorial service will be held in St. George in celebration of her life.
