Leora Dean (Anderson) Bennett

Leora Dean Bennett, 94 of Springville, Utah passed away on Monday, August 1, 2022.

Leora was born on January 5, 1928 in Los Angeles, California to William K. and Arthella Anderson.

She grew up in Southern Utah where she met and married Eldon Reed Bennett on September 8, 1947 in Santa Clara, Utah.

Leora retired from Nebo School District. She spent her life working hard and serving others.

She enjoyed quilting, sewing and working in her yard. She loved camping and fishing with her family.

She loved being with her friends’ playing cards, road trips and enjoying each other’s company.

Everyone loved Leora for her sweet spirit and loving kindness to others.

Leora is survived by her 3 daughters; Charlene (Earl) Butler, Kathryn (Dale) Bullock, Jolene (Blaine) Dalton; 7 Grandchildren; 16 Great grandchildren; 2 Great-great grandchildren and a sister, Sharon Daines and a brother, Kent Anderson. Preceded in death by her husband Eldon Reed Bennett and sisters; Arva Dawn and Karen and grandson Jeff Butler.

Funeral services will be Saturday, August 6, 2022 at 2:30 pm at Wheeler Mortuary, 211 East 200 South, Springville. Friends and family may call one hour prior to the services.

Burial will be held Monday, August 8th at 9:00 a.m. in the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.
