Linda Carter-Hall, 78, of Springville, Utah, passed away December 31, 2020. Linda was born Linda Jean Hostetter, in Battle Creek, Michigan, the second child and only daughter of Roy and Jennie Hostetter.

Linda grew up in Michigan and Stockton, California before attending Brigham Young University. Linda married in 1969 and had 5 children – 4 boys and 1 girl. She lived in El Paso, Texas, San Francisco, California, Pittsburgh, California, and Orem, Utah before moving to Springville in 1979. Linda worked hard at being a great mother and as the kids grew older, she enjoyed a fulfilling career at the United States Forest Service and the Federal Bureau of Investigation until her retirement. She enjoyed traveling, knitting, and spending time with her grandkids. She often dreamed of owning a beach house but stayed in Utah to be close to family.

Linda is survived by her 5 children: Quinn, Jordan, Tamar, Morgan, and Logan and her 11 grandchildren. Linda was preceded in death by her parents and one grandson.

Due to the pandemic, Linda’s funeral will be small and limited to a family-only graveside service. Linda cherished her personal time and would have likely been happy with this.
