Pauline (Madsen) Edmunds

Our loving wife and mother, Pauline Madsen Edmunds passed away peacefully at her home in Springville, Utah, on Thursday, December 30th, 2021.

Pauline was born on July 13, 1951, in Mt. Pleasant, Utah, to Ned and Nita Madsen.  She always joked that any of her bad luck was because she was born on Friday the 13th.

She grew up in Manti, Utah, in a house across from the Manti Temple.  She graduated from Manti High School in 1969 and attended Trade Tech School in Provo.  She worked hard for her family and held various jobs before retiring in 2012 after 30 years at Nebo School District.

She met her sweetheart, Phil Edmunds on a blind date.  They were married in Las Vegas, Nevada, on December 29th, 1973.  Their marriage was later solemnized in the Manti Temple.

She loved reading, lilacs and tulips, watching sports and movies, playing games and spending time with her family.  She loved her husband and kids and supported them in everything they did.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and served in various Church callings.  We know that she was welcomed home by her loving Heavenly Father, her Savior Jesus Christ, and dear family members.

She leaves behind her husband, Phil Edmunds; daughter, Terri Lee Edmunds; son, Shawn Phil Edmunds; step-son Alan (Teri) Edmunds; and grandchildren Kallie and Brevik Edmunds.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter Tracy Clark; Step-daughter, Teresa Edmunds; and half-sister, Linda Hatfield.

Mom, we love you and will miss you more than words can say, but this isn't goodbye, but "see ya later."

In accordance with her wishes, no funeral or viewing will be held.  Graveside services will be held at Springville Historic Cemetery (400 South 200 West) on Tuesday, January 4th, 2022, at 11:00 am.  A luncheon will follow the services at the Kolob 2nd Ward Church at 840 South 400 East.
