Sharon Louise (Kloeckner) Stephenson

Sharon Louise Stephenson, age 70, of Springville Utah passed away January 23, 2022 in Orem Utah. She was born July 24, 1951 on Apra Harbor US naval base in Guam to George and Nola Kloeckner and was the eldest of 5 children. Sharon graduated from Morse High School in San Diego California. Sharon married Michael Stephenson on January 9,1993.

Before moving to Springville Sharon lived in Borrego Springs California where she worked for the United State Postal Service. For many years Sharon was involved in Youth For Understanding, opening her home to High School seniors from other countries. Sharon and Michael raised Shar-Peis and started Circle S Ranch where they bred quarter horses. Sharon also enjoyed gardening and watching Dr. Poll.

Sharon is survived by her husband, Michael Stephenson, her mother Nola Kloeckner her siblings Janice Young, David Kloeckner, Don Kloeckner and Lynn Zuydendorp. Her children Margie Day, Brandon Hopewell, Jamie Cuevas, Anthony Stephenson and Tammy Schwarte, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Sharon was proceeded in death by her father George Kloeckner and daughter Shannon Hopewell.

Services will be Tuesday February 1, 2022 at the LDS church located at 555 Averett Ave Springville, UT. The viewing for family and friends will be held from 11:30 am-12:45 pm. Funeral will be from 1:00-2:00pm.

The Burial will follow at the Utah Veterans Cemetery & Memorial Park located at 17111 1700 W Bluffdale UT 84065
