Tate Hatfield

August 5, 2002 — September 23, 2019

Tate Peterson Hatfield was born on August 5, 2002 to Jeff and Rachelle Hatfield in Provo Utah. He passed away on September 23, 2019. Tate, aka, Frederico (self chosen nickname when he was 6) loved being outdoors with his brothers Brayden and McKade and his dad, and watching movies at home with his family. His many skills include but are not limited to, professional movie quoter, comedian, burger and fry sauce chef developing his own recipes, photography, and ukulele. He was compassionate, honest, and empathetic. The best brother and son anyone could ask for, quick to crack a joke and bring a smile to the room. He was the family DJ, assembling the best playlists for long car rides. A great uncle to his nephew Hunter, who would watch Megamind on repeat for hours at a time. Loved dogs from an early age and some may say he got along better with the dogs than people. Once he started laughing it was contagious. Beverages of choice include but not exclusive to, Mtn. Dew, and bottled root beer. Tate has lived all over the United States in places such as Utah, Arkansas, Kentucky, Ohio, and California. Tate has friends all over the country as a result. He touched the lives of many during his life and will be missed by many.

He was proceeded in death by his grandma Calleen Condie Skinner, his aunts Haylee Hatfield and Janae Peterson and his dog Shadow. He is survived by his parents Jeff and Rachelle, his brothers Brayden and McKade, his sister Sydney Sheppard Hatfield, his nephew Hunter Wayne Hatfield, and his dog Tucker. Grandparents Ed and Lyne Peterson, and Ron and Gloria Hatfield, both of Payson, Utah.
